Accompanying the project Radio Muezzin by Stefan Kaegi / Rimini Protokoll the prizewinng documentary "Muezzin" by Sebastian Brameshuber will be screened on 27/09 in the frame of the Sunday Brunch at the festival centre, followed by a talk with the filmmaker.

"Muezzin" is a film by the Upperaustrian director and producer Sebastian Brameshuber and was opening film at the crossing europe filmfestival in linz. His documentary accompanies three muezzins in Istanbul during their preparation for and participation during the Turkish call to prayer contest. The documentary follows the dramatic progress of the competition and investigates
the phenomenon of individuality within Islamic culture.
