In the concert installation “Breathing Music” by Justė Janulytė and Dovydas Klimavičius, music starts to breathe: Like four foetuses in four uteruses, the musicians of the Chordos String Quartet sit and play in big plastic bubbles, with air being slowly pumped alternately in, then out, reminding us that not only we, but also sound can only exist in and through air.
